НЗЧ, характеризующееся задержкой роста, мышечной слабостью и др. симптомами, обусловлено дефицитом печеночной (но не мышечной) фосфорилазы, что ведет к накоплению в печени гликогена; передается по аутосомно-рецессивному типу, ген PYGL локализован на участке q11.2-q24.3 хромосомы 14.
